NT: Cyclone watch for NT east coast
DARWIN, Feb 9 AAP - A cyclone watch was declared for the east coast of the Northern
Territory today after a tropical low pressure system developed in the Arafura Sea.
The low was almost stationary 200 km north-north-east of the the mining town of Nhulunbuy
on the Gove Peninsula at 11am CST (1230 AEDT), the Bureau of Meteorology said.
